The director of Sardasht Agricultural Jihad said: 23 thousand and 45 tons of black grapes are expected to be harvested from the rainfed lands of this city this year.
Saeidian, pointing out that suitable weather conditions for growing black grapes, Sardasht city has become the center of production of this product in West Azerbaijan province and the country, added: 5.5 tons of black grapes are harvested from each hectare of rainfed lands of this city .

I have to say ; Sardasht black grape is one of the most unique agricultural products in the world, part of which is purchased by concentrate factories and exported to world markets, especially Turkey, France, Spain and Portugal. However, in recent years, some factories in the country have been producing juice. Sardasht black grapes have been harvested, but still, a very small percentage of this product is consumed domestically.

Despite the high production of this product in Sardasht and the existence of sufficient capacities to produce more of this product, which can somehow create employment, reduce unemployment and smuggling in this region, but there is no sign of black grape conversion industries in this city. .
