Ehsani added: Bam city, with the production of the best Mazafati dates and its export to other parts of the world, ranks first in the production of dates in the country.
He continued: Considering that dates are the main product of this city, a special headquarters has been created for its production and many activities and meetings have been organized in the field of export and development of this product, but because the standard office in this city It does not have a representative. We are facing some problems.
Ehsani pointed out: Some profiteers have reduced the quality and price of Mazafati dates in the country by supplying substandard dates, and measures have been taken for this purpose.
A new way of packaging that reduces the possibility of fraud is being taught to manufacturers to improve the quality of distribution of this product, he said.
With the production of 90,000 tons of dates, Iran ranks second after Egypt in the production of this product. This conference will last for two days.
