60,000 tons of dates were harvested from 13,000 groves in Minab

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Minab city said: at the end of the harvest season, 60,000 tons of dates were harvested from more than 13,000 groves in Minab city.
Mousavi added: The date harvest has been done this year with a growth of 10% compared to the same period last year.
He stated: Holding training classes, observing the principles of horticulture, distributing biological fertilizers and fighting pests are the most important reasons for increasing production this year.
Mousavi, stating that the city of Minab has the first rank in date harvest in Hormozgan province, added: Every year, the date harvest in Minab begins in early June and ends with the harvest in October.
