Production of 130,000 tons of dates in Dashtestan
Hamidreza Jahanbakhsh stated: Dashtestan is one of the most fertile areas in the field of agriculture and if the required water is provided and the necessary arrangements are provided, it will become a major agricultural hub of the country.
He added: a large part of the country’s dates are produced in Dashtestan and sent to the market, and according to available statistics, more than 130,000 tons of dates are produced annually in this city.
The director of Dashtestan Agricultural Jihad pointed out: In the current situation, in addition to palm trees, which are the main agricultural lands of Dashtestan, greenhouses and important agricultural industries and gardens of Dashtestan are also unique in the province.
Jahanbakhsh stated: Strengthening farmers and providing low-income facilities to this group is one of the programs that are being considered and emphasized, and thank God, we have taken basic steps in this direction so far.
He said: Increasing the quality level of farmers’ products should be on the agenda of these loved ones so that we can help them improve the market for selling products.
The director of Dashtestan Agricultural Jihad said: We are determined to support farmers and producers of agricultural products in the six sections of Dashtestan, and in the last year we have reached an important part of the goals with the support of the directors of Dashtestan Agricultural Jihad and Dashtestan city managers.
