The directors of Jihad Keshavarzi in Chardavol, Sirvan and Darhshahr cities in Ilam province announced the harvest of rice and mung bean crops.
Iqbal Ground, director of Chardavol Agricultural Jihad in Ilam province, stated: Beet harvesting work has started on 408 hectares of irrigated lands in this city.
He added: the yield of beet per hectare is estimated at 50 to 70 tons, and the farmers of Chardavol city delivered at least 20,000 tons of products to the sugar factories of Islamabad and Isfahan.
Ground further specified: providing technical advice during planting, holding and harvesting to farmers and preparing agricultural inputs, holding extension classes, visiting experts on farms are among the services provided to farmers.
Engineer Hojjatullah Bakhshudeh – Director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Sirvan city in Ilam province also said: rice harvest started from 1353 hectares of paddy fields of the city.
He stated that it is predicted that 5 tons of paddy will be harvested from each hectare, of which 60% of white rice will be produced and sent to the market, adding that a total of 7440 tons of paddy is produced and worth 350 billion rials in income of farmers in the region. will be.
