The head of the country’s tea organization said: By using the methods of producing organic products, domestic tea can be upgraded from a healthy product to an organic product in the world.

Mohammad Wali Roozbehan, while visiting the 7-hectare organic tea garden of one of the gardeners, which is located in Sarash village, 17 km from Lahijan city, said: The tea garden has been used along with other agricultural operations.

He added: This garden is an organic sample garden in terms of not using fertilizers, poisons and other chemicals.

Roozbehan promised that he and similar tea growers would receive consulting and financial support within the framework of the criteria of the National Tea Organization and the Fund for Supporting the Development of the National Tea Industry.

He further informed of the deposit of 2 billion and 5 million Tomans from the receivables to the account of Sepah Chaikaran Bank and said: so far, a total of 10 billion and 241 million Tomans have been paid from the receivables of Chaikaran.
