Beginning of rice transplanting in the lands of Darhshahr
The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Darhshahr city announced the beginning of rice transplanting operations in the agricultural lands of the city.
Ali Gholami stated: So far, 250 hectares of the most potential agricultural and fertile lands of Darehshahr city have been under rice cultivation in the current crop year, which is predicted to reach 450 hectares by the end of the planting season.
Gholami Babian, that the most cultivated cultivar of this crop is Anbarbo, listed the main rice cultivation areas in the villages of the central part of Darhshahr city and said: in the current crop year, about 600 people are active in rice seedling cultivation.
Among the services provided to the rice farmers of this city, he benefited from the recommendations of experts and agricultural promoters, preparing the required chemical fertilizers, preparing and supplying seedling trays for full mechanized planting and other mechanized agricultural machines such as paddlers, paying long-term bank facilities for establishing seedlings. He mentioned the allocation of technical and credit aid and said: planting and transplanting of this product will start from the first half of July and will continue until the end of July, when about 50 hectares will be fully mechanized and the rest will be transplanted in the traditional and manual way.
The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Darhshahr city stated: So far, 15% of this product has been covered by the agricultural insurance fund of the city.
