Beginning of rice transplanting in Rudsar paddy fields
The director of Rudsar Agricultural Jihad said: the collection was done in more than 70% of Rudsar paddy lands.
Ehsanullah Moshtaq reported 98% plowing in the paddy fields of Rudsar city and said: rice planting has also started in these lands.
He stated that this city has 10,700 hectares of paddy lands, and said: this year, mechanized cultivation will be done in 500 hectares of paddy fields of this city.
The director of Rudsar Agricultural Jihad said: the collection has been done in more than 70% of Rudsar paddy lands.
He said that mechanized production of rice will reduce rice costs, he said: last year in 2000 hectares of land in the city rice harvesting was done mechanized and this amount is expected to increase this year.
Mushtaq continued: Cultivation of high-yielding cultivars will increase the production of white rice in the city and improve farmers’ incomes. Therefore, we have an increase in the cultivation of Gohar cultivar, which has a yield of eight tons per hectare, in Rudsar agricultural programs.
He added: Cultivation of rice with fish and duck, in addition to reducing the use of pesticides and fertilizers in rice production in the city, will increase the production of fish and duck meat, and we are working to expand this in Rudsar.
