The official clarified: The owners of wells that have overdrafts are supposed to be monitored on a monthly basis, but unfortunately some of the work is not going well.
Pirhiati added: Unfortunately, in some areas, industrial wells are rented for the agricultural sector, which has been identified in 22 cases in the city of Khorramabad, but no action has been taken so far.
He stated: It has also been approved in the province, especially in the Kashkan river basin, that we will not have any increase in tree planting during this year, except with the permission of the regional water company and for the cities of Kuhdasht and Romeshkan, which have different conditions from the province. 40% regional water has announced that we will carry out the program with a 40% reduction in water.
Referring to the agricultural pump motors, the deputy of Lorestan Jihad Agricultural Organization reminded: in Poldakhtar city, there are 900 licenses for legal pump motors and 900 illegal pump motors in Kashkan river.
