He informed of the increase in white rice production in Gilan this year and said: the final statistics of the increase in rice production will be announced in the near future.

Shabannejad clarified: The organization is supposed to tell the truth to the people and what we are saying is definitely true. This year, we told the farmers that we have a shortage of water, but this does not mean that no one should cultivate rice, but rice should be planted, but the management of the rice fields must be done, and fortunately it was done.

He said: Our efforts to promote Gilan rice do not end with rice harvest and we will continue to pursue good sales of rice in the province to prevent the import of foreign rice into the country. All our efforts are not to import rice until December of this year so that farmers have time to sell their products.
