Drinking tea immediately after eating causes anemia
Drinking tea shortly after a meal can expose a person to iron deficiency and anemia.
Dr. Abolghasem Jazayeri, Nutrition Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Health of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, said in an interview with Webda: Tanat iron and causes the excretion of iron from the body, and this is especially harmful for people with anemia and iron deficiency, and exacerbates their anemia.
He continued: Tea contains an anti-vitamin B1 factor and prevents the body from using vitamin B1, so we conclude that consuming tea shortly after a meal can expose people to iron deficiency and vitamin B1 deficiency.
Dr. Jazayeri stated: If the amount of iron with vitamin B1 in human food is not enough, it can have significant harmful effects.
It is therefore recommended. It is possible to drink tea one or two hours after eating and also to avoid drinking strong tea.
