Horticulture expert of Kazerun Agricultural Jihad Management announced that saffron harvest has started from 5 hectares of lands in this city.

Zahrapanah added: Considering the average yield of four kilograms of saffron production per hectare, it is predicted that more than 20 kilograms of dry saffron will be produced and marketed in this city this year.

Zahrapanah, pointing out that the harvested saffron is of high quality, added: Due to the weather conditions, the harvest of this product will start in mid-November and continue until early January.
