Daily harvest of 100 tons of onions from Sarbaz agricultural lands

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Sarbaz city said: 100 tons of onions are harvested daily from Sarbaz agricultural lands and sold to the consumer market.

Shirzad Kamali stated: While the decrease of temperature and rainfall has covered most parts of the country, the farmers of Sarbaz city are busy harvesting onions from agricultural lands.

He added: out of the collection of 4000 off-season onions in the province, more than 1850 hectares of Sarbaz city have been allocated to him and more than 100 tons of off-season onions are harvested daily and offered to the consumer market all over the country.

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi Sarbaz stated that 55,500 tons of onions crops are harvested annually from agricultural lands.

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi Sarbaz pointed out: Harvesting onions out of season in Sarbaz city has a significant role in regulating the market of this product and reducing its price.
