He said that the cultivation of this product is done from the end of September to the end of October every year, adding: production figures include; The local population is Ramhormoz and Behbahan white onion, which are concentrated in two areas of Rostamabad and its suburbs.

Zarezadeh stated that the average production and harvest of onions in Ramhormoz city is between 30 to 40 tons per hectare and said: The harvest of this product will be done in June and July next year and the product will be exported to other neighboring cities in Khuzestan province and in terms of quality It is desirable and has many fans.

According to the head of Ramhormoz Agricultural Jihad Plant Production Department, in addition to onion cultivation, vegetable and summer cultivation is done in 2,500 hectares of the city’s lands, and due to the unique conditions of water and soil resources, it has a unique quality. , So that the production of vegetables and summer has become a prominent brand nationally and even internationally.
