Director of Khash Agricultural Jihad said: This year, 200 hectares of agricultural lands in this city have been allocated for onion cultivation, and 70% of the onions produced in this city have been harvested.

Shirzad Kamali, director of Khash Agricultural Jihad, stated that onion harvest began in Khash in early August and will continue until the end of October, adding: So far, the use of onions in about 70% of the agricultural lands of this city has been completed.

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi Khash named the cultivated onion as the Texas cultivar and said: the onion produced in this city will be sent to other parts of Sistan and Baluchestan in addition to meeting the needs of the city.
