This plant grows quickly and you can easily grow it in pots, gardens or even in a glass of water with the onset of spring.

To prepare cuttings from the mint plant, cut it at an angle of about 1 cm from the top of the stem to the ground with sharp scissors so that it does not cause the stem to be crushed.

Remove the lower leaves of the stem and leave only three leaves on the stem. This allows the plant’s energy to be expended by rooting the cuttings faster. Place the mint cuttings in a glass of water so that the entire stem of the plant leaves the plant in water.

Place the container containing the cuttings in a warm place away from direct sunlight. Whenever the water in the container is low, add water to it. Mint cuttings will take root in less than two weeks and you can transfer them to the pot.

Choose a small pot and fill it with soil, leaves and sand. Make a hole 3 cm deep in the soil and plant the young cuttings in it. After a while, your first mint leaves will turn green.

It is interesting to know that you should prune the plant regularly, minting pruning will make your plant thick and large and do not allow the mint to flower, as soon as it blooms, pluck it and throw it away.
