Performing Damask rose ritual simultaneously with the flower and rose water season in Kashan

Seyyed Mohammad Nazem Razavi, while pointing to the way this ceremony was held for the first time in Kashan, stated: Tourists and citizens of Kashan will be held on the big roof of the city.

He considered the coincidence of Mohammadi Red Rose Festival with Rajab and Sha’baniyah holidays as blessed and important and said: Holding this festival coincides with the biggest Muslim Eid Eid al-Fitr until the birth of Hazrat Abul-Fazl Al-Abbas (AS) .

According to him, the entrances of Kashan city (Nazanz Highway, Tolls, Ravand Road Police and Dar Al-Salam) will be informed to citizens and those interested in holding this festival by installing advertising banners.

The mayor of Kashan mentioned the preparation of various parking lots in several parts of the city and the free movement of tourists as among the municipality’s measures to facilitate passenger traffic these days.

Nazem Razavi mentioned the holding of an exhibition of the Rose water-making ceremony with the presence of one of the cities of Kashan Rose and Rose water region, the supply of products and distillates, and handicraft booths among the side programs of this festival.

He said that holding the flower and rose water march in Bamshahr area by selecting the jury, reviewing the quality of flowers and how to turn it into rose water, holding Kashan tours and desert tours are other programs of Damask rose festival.

The mayor of Kashan mentioned the installation of spectator platforms in the big city park for the welfare and comfort of citizens and tourists as one of the most important municipal programs regarding holding the Damask rose ritual.

According to him, the motto of this year’s festival is the Damask rose ritual titled In the Alavi spring, from the prophetic perfume to Shamim Mohammadi, Damask rose festival.
