Alizadeh said: it is expected that this year the farmers of the province will harvest more than 2 tons of Damask rose in the harvest stage, which is the result of extracting 10 million liters of rose water.
He continued: It should also be noted that the level of quality of Rose water produced in Isfahan province is very desirable and this amount has increased by 20 percent compared to last year.
The secretary of the Farmers Guild Organization of the northern region of Isfahan province reminded: The highest levels of Damask rose harvest and rose water production in industrial and traditional units of Isfahan province are in Kashan, Shahinshahr and Golpayegan cities, respectively.
Alizadeh said: Currently, there are 1,500 industrial and traditional rose water production units in Isfahan province, and Damask rose products are in the form of rose water production, essential oils and other plant products.
He added: So far, more than 6,500 people are working in the industrial and traditional units of rose water production in the province, and considering the provision of the necessary facilities and capacities provided to these units, this industry is expected to flourish in the new year.
