Planting and propagation of chamomile
Chamomile is a common name used for various types of grass family plants (from the genus Cassian). Two species of these plants, including German chamomile, are used in infusions and have been given medicinal properties.
The two main types of chamomile that are used in infusion and are considered to have medicinal properties are German chamomile and Roman chamomile. Other species of plants have the name chamomile (such as spring chamomile and yellow chamomile) but are usually not used in the form of infusions and their medicinal properties are not mentioned.
This plant is considered as one of the most reliable plants in the world, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. Preliminary findings suggest that chamomile neutralizes cancer cells, but its proven properties include rapid wound healing, prevention and healing of colds, fighting bacterial infections, relieving muscle spasms and cramps, calming anxiety, and improving sleep quality.
Chamomile is a small white flower that can be dried and used instead of tea. If you want to use chamomile instead of tea, it is better to use the German chamomile type. The chamomile plant grows only about 22.5 cm, but the German chamomile also grows up to 60 cm. The diameter of chamomile flowers is about 3 cm.
Chamomile is often grown in the ground but can also be grown in large pots. Because German chamomile grows taller, it is best to plant it in pots. This beautiful flower is fragrant and attracts bees when it grows in the ground.

Method of planting and propagating chamomile plant
Buy a package of chamomile seeds or it can be obtained from chamomile flowers. Plant the seeds in the pot after the cold. Keep them indoors at the beginning of planting because the roots like heat.
After 6 to 8 weeks, transfer the chamomile to a sunny, well-ventilated area. Water them once a week or whenever they appear dry.
Chamomile seeds germinate within a week or two. Within a month or two, the tiny yellow and white flowers are ready to be harvested. Chamomile flowers can be planted with cuttings. Cut one of the chamomile branches to a height of 8 to 12 cm and plant it.
Chamomile flowers can be picked after maturity and used instead of tea. Dry them in a tray. Chop the flowers and pour into a teapot. Add boiling water to it, let it brew and drink!
