A Yazdi farmer broke the record of pistachio production in the country
A Yazdi farmer named Jalil Abolzadeh, 60 years old, managed to harvest 31,611 kg of fresh pistachios, equivalent to 10,537 kg of dried pistachios per hectare, on his lands located 10 km northeast of Abarkooh.
This amount is not only the highest amount of production in the country this year, but also a record for Yazd province.
Haj Abolzadeh stated: This recession has been confirmed and announced based on the sampling of experts from the Pistachio and Mines Office for the Extension of the Exploitation System of the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture and the Jihad Agricultural Organization of Yazd Province.
The hardworking farmer also said that his biggest problem is the limitation of water resources and said that so far he has dug 46 wells in this area with considerable investment, of which only 12 have reached the water and the assistance of the authorities for water supply and facilities. The required bank increases the quality and quantity of performance.
