Fars province is full of capacities that, if seen well and with proper planning, appropriate action can be taken from them; Today we have witnessed its profound and far-reaching effects in various dimensions, especially in the economic field.

Cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism are some of the hidden and visible capacities of Fars, but despite the acknowledgment of all officials and experts on this issue, we have not seen accurate and appropriate planning to use this capacity.

In recent years and since the early 1990s, planned efforts to build infrastructure in the field of cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism have been on the agenda, one of which was to pay attention to the national and international registration of historical monuments and heritage and handicrafts of the province.

Fars had many capacities in the field of handicrafts, many of which are on the verge of being forgotten or forgotten today; Khatam, mosaic, mirror work, tiling, etc. In the meantime, a number of masters have been forgotten.

In recent years, after the national registration of Qashqai and Gabbeh carpets in Fars province and the global registration of the Sassanid axis, we are now witnessing the national registration of Abadeh as an inlaid city, as if the cultural heritage of this ancient region has been opened and officials Take over.

Mosayeb Amiri, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Fars Province, said: Abadeh was selected as a national inlay city and Fars was given another honor.

The Director General of Fars Cultural Heritage added: Initially, Manbat Abadeh, Khatam Shiraz and Qashqai hand weavers were selected to obtain the national emblem of the province. Finally, after expert studies, the case of Manbat Abadeh was prioritized and submitted to the Strategic Council of Handicrafts.

Amiri added: On July 20, the final defense was held in the presence of the members of this national committee, the deputy of handicrafts, etc., and Abadeh proudly won the title of the national inlaid city in the country, and we hope that it will be the world title in this field. Will also earn soon.

Selection of national cities and villages
The Deputy Minister of Handicrafts of Fars, pointing out that in the second strategic council for selecting cities and villages of national handicrafts, a proposal was made to register the city of Abadeh as an inlaid city, and said: After that, an appropriate defense was made by the officials.

Zahediannejad, stating that there are 200,000 artists in Fars province; He said: Abadeh is one of the most important cities in Fars province and the country in the production of handicrafts, especially inlays.

He considered the selection of national cities and villages as effective in the development and promotion of handicrafts in these areas and said: This process began 2 years ago with the formation of the National Cities and Villages Selection Council, which is chaired by the Deputy Handicrafts and General Managers. Deputies and representatives are other deputies of the Cultural Heritage Organization and members of the council.

Zahediannejad stated: The criteria that are considered for selecting national cities and villages of handicrafts in the council are related to exports, promotion and development of handicrafts, cultural heritage, tourist attractions, etc.

From empathy to empowerment

Open the field.
