Esfandiar Hassani Moghaddam stated: The fig orchards of the province are about 2 hectares, of which 1400 hectares have entered the fruiting phase.

He stated that about 28,000 tons of figs are harvested annually from orchards, adding that the yield of fig orchards is 20 tons per hectare.
