Activities of 500 kilim weaving workshops in Shahrekord
Shahrekord’s deputy for handicrafts, cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism said: “On average, a thousand square meters of kilims are woven annually in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province (Shahrekord).”
Mehrdad Raeisi added: “Simple weaving, embossed and verni kilims are among the carpets of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari (Shahrekord).”
According to him, the kilim of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province (Shahrekord) has won the UNESCO International Medal.
