Barchlu carpet is one of the light rural carpets that is woven in Barchlu region located in Hamadan province in western Iran. In this carpet, symmetrical knots with cotton and woolen threads and woolen lint have been used. Bricks, bergamots, and tangled fish are common designs, and camel, floral, blue, and ivory are common colors in Barchlu carpets.

In the surrounding area between the cities of Hamedan, Tafresh and Farahan, a tribe of Turks named Barchlu, who according to historical evidence reach the Mongol Holakukhan, weave long rugs and long lint often in a floral style with elastic and bergamot designs. The rugs of this tribe with two large bergamot heads, which are actually two vases full of bouquets, as well as four large bouquets surrounded by other aspects, have a special effect on the ivory background of the carpet. The edges of these rugs, which are mostly woven in two-sided and half-sized sizes, like most carpets in the western regions of Iran, consist of three stripes, and the central stripe is usually dark blue.
Zarif Zarif Central is one of the attributes of Barchlou carpets and Kamazan village is the producer of the best of them. Barchlou has been one of the few areas that has used the design of the battalion under the influence of Arak carpet weaving. The bad red color of the primrose flower has changed and the weavers have reduced the size of their carpets.
