The motifs used in Taleghan carpet: Taleghan carpet is woven mentally and has a geometric design and texture. It doesn’t make much sense to be symmetrical in this look, and this feature and simplicity of the designs are the most important factors in this beautiful look. Taleghani’s weaver is surrounded by the environment and the carpets he was inspired by, but he weaves his own mind and does such a simplistic thing. It is, in fact, born of an unnamed mind.
In general, the role models of Taleghan’s thinking can be divided into the following groups:
1- Plant motifs: Picture yourself: which includes the types of trees that are woven in your surroundings. This image is often used individually and is not linked to another image, and more plants are used in the margins. Picture of a flower: It is one of the motifs that can be seen in its entirety in a separate form or connected in different sizes and shapes.
2 – Animal motifs: These motifs are divided into two groups: one is the animals that the weaver has seen in their environment and deals with them, and the second group are imaginary animals, which the weaver himself is often unable to describe. It is as if they have come directly from the fabric of the mind to the fabric of their minds. From the first drawings, we can mention the role of goats, snakes, deer, turtles, different types of birds, different types of animals, and so on.
3- Human motifs: Humane motifs are less visible in Taleghan’s mind, but they cannot be ignored. These designs are also very basic and abstract and exist individually in the text of the carpet.
4- Nature-derived motifs: The weaver in creating these motifs, which includes mountains and running water, is inspired by the mountainous nature and abundant springs in the area. Mountain View: Always seen as a zigzag on the edge or around the center bergamot. Water Drawing: Used as playful lines next to a mountain painting and is a symbol of life and life.
5- Objects taken from objects: In Taleghan’s weaves, similar to other Russian weaves, there are paintings in which the weaver inspired the objects around him and the means of his life.
6- Innovative motifs: These designs are created only by weaving and often in order to fill the empty space of the text. In some cases, the name of the weaver who created this role is given a picture. An excellent flower, for example, is a painting that was invented by a person with a great name.
