Almond harvest began in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari orchards.

Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Deputy for Plant Production Improvement announced the beginning of almond harvest from Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari orchards.

Hamidreza Danesh announced the area of ​​fertile almond orchards as more than 11,000 hectares and added: it is predicted that about 24,000 tons of crops will be harvested this year.

He stated: Midwifery, Sefid, Shahroudi and Sangi are the almond production cultivars in this province.

According to him, the almond harvest will continue until mid-September in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari.

Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Deputy Minister of Plant Production Improvement announced the export of 2,000 tons of almond kernels to the Persian Gulf countries and India last year.
