Annual production of 60 tons of grapes in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari
Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Jihad-e-Keshavarzi horticultural affairs expert announced the annual production of 60 tons of grapes in the province.
Hamidreza Mansouri pointed to the annual production of 60 tons of grapes in the province and said:
more than 5,200 hectares of the province’s lands are under hair cultivation.
He stated that most of the grape harvest belongs to Kiar section, and specified:
Asgari, white and black, currant and ruby are among the grape production cultivars in the province.
Mansouri pointed to the export of this product to the provinces of Isfahan, Khuzestan and Tehran and said:
gardeners sell grapes fresh, raisins, raisins and water.
Referring to the need to plant improved commercial cultivars in the province, he noted:
Currently, the cultivars that are produced in the province are of a type where grape clusters dry out quickly and crop yields increase,
while it requires pearl cultivars. , White and black currants are planted.
According to him, the cold climate of this province has caused the production and cultivation of grapes
to be less widespread than other crops in this region.
