Barberry garden without seeds in Isfahan came to fruition
Saifullah Moeini, a gardener in Borkhar, after five years of barberry cultivation experience in the cities of South Khorasan province, has planted 600 two- and three-year-old seedlings in a 6,000-square-meter garden in Borkhar this year, and now this garden is fruitful.
The director of Jihad-e-Agriculture of Borkhar city, referring to the beginning of seedless barberry harvest from this garden this week, predicted that 6000 kg of barberry would be harvested from 400 three-year-old seedlings of this garden. Naqdi added: Barberry cultivation needs little water.
