Baziar said: Two new commercial cultivars of Behvnameh Majool and Pyaram dates have been planted in some areas of Kazerun city, which if adapted to the climate of this city, it is hoped to be a suitable alternative to old dilapidated and non-economic gardens.
He went on to say that all the components of the palm tree are used in industry: the leaves of this tree in handicrafts and livestock breeding, its wood in wood and chipboard industries, its spots in herbal essences and also fruits It is used in the food industry.
The official said that the most important date fruit products that are mostly produced in the processing industry include date sugar, chocolate, lavashka, alcohol, vinegar, soft drinks, dough and date flour and said: The waste of this valuable product is also used in animal feed and compost preparation.
