Beginning of fig harvest in Aras free zone
According to the public relations and international affairs of the Aras Free Zone Organization, the harvest of figs began from the gardens of the neighboring villages of the center of Norduz, located on the banks of the Aras River.
Among the high quality figs produced in Aras Free Zone, we can mention local yellow, red and seedless yellow. Most of the figs in this region are harvested annually from the villages of Mason, Kolan, Kurdasht, Duzal, Nojmehr, Pahnavar and Tilkari.
Coal was also harvested from the gardens of the historic village and tourism of Ashtbin and taken to the market.
Ashtbin village with mountainous environment and special climate, has the best conditions for planting coal.
This fruit, like all red fruits such as tomatoes and cherries, has antioxidants that are effective in preventing heart disease, cancer, diabetes, cataracts and osteoarthritis.
