The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Kashan city announced the harvest of grapes from 40 hectares of fertile vineyards in Kashan plain.

Engineer Majid Kafizadeh said: The main cultivars cultivated in the Kashan plain region include ruby, currant, Shirazi and halva. The ruby cultivar is earlier than other cultivars.

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi further added: Bidaneh cultivar is mostly harvested in the best way to produce juice; Also, grape harvest operations in Kashan plain region will start in mid-June and will continue until mid-August. The average harvest of grapes in Kashan plain is 15 tons per hectare.
