Beginning of grape harvest in Marvas city of Yazd province

Behrouz Bashnei said: the grape harvest has started in the area of one thousand hectares of orchards in this region.

Bashnei added: the harvest of this product will continue until the end of August in this region and it is predicted that 20,000 tons of grapes will be harvested by the end of the harvest season.

He said: Sixty percent of this amount is processed as fresh food and the rest as raisins.

Khalili, Askari, Siah and Rish Baba mentioned the vines harvested in this area.

He said: the grapes produced will be transferred to the center of the province and neighboring provinces of Kerman, Bandar Abbas, Fars, Isfahan and even the cities of Azerbaijan for sale.
