Harvesting of sesame from 1600 hectares of farms in Hormozgan began.

Seyed Reza Amirizadeh, director of agriculture at the Hormozgan Agricultural Jihad Organization, predicted that about 1,700 tons of sesame would be harvested from these fields by the end of the harvest season.
