The director of horticulture of Sistan and Baluchestan Agricultural Jihad said: the harvest of sour tea from 732 hectares of agricultural lands in this province will start and will continue until mid-December.

Ardeshir Shahraki stated: Delgan, Iranshahr and Mirjaveh counties are the main tea growing areas in Sistan and Baluchestan.
He continued: Delgan city with 600 hectares has the highest area under sour tea cultivation.
Shahraki, stating that 800 kg of dry produce is harvested from each hectare of Sistan and Baluchestan sour tea plantations, predicted that a total of 586 tons of sour tea will be harvested in this province.
The director of horticulture of Sistan and Baluchestan Agricultural Jihad, pointing out that the area under sour tea cultivation has increased by more than 80 hectares this year compared to last year, added: Sistan and Baluchestan has the first rank of sour tea production in the country.
He pointed out: Sour tea with its unique properties reduces blood pressure and blood fats as the most common diseases, and as a result, humans will have a longer life by consuming it.

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Nimroz city said: with the aim of proper efficiency of water resources and changing the cultivation pattern, the implementation of the medicinal plants plan is on the agenda of Jihad Keshavarzi and Golmohammadi is one of the medicinal plants compatible with environmental and climatic conditions and low water requirements. And it is very hardy that in two seasons of spring and autumn can be planted rooted seedlings.

Hassan Safaei Moghaddam added: Considering the implementation of the project of transferring water through pipes to Sistan agricultural lands, Jihad Keshavarzi has made the necessary plans to create and expand the area of ??orchards and medicinal plants in the region and by providing rooted seedlings this year with a credit of 462 million rials has created six hectares of Mohammadi flower garden.
He expressed his hope that by promoting medicinal plants and developing conversion industries in the region, in addition to creating new job opportunities, the field of increasing the income of farmers in the city will be provided.
