The horticulture director of Malekan Jihad-e-Agriculture Department also said:
95% of the grape harvested are converted to californian and acidic raisins and after packing in seven green cleaning factories in Malekan city
and also several vegetable cleaning factories in Bonab and Maragheh cities to Arab and European countries. And it is exported to Africa,
including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Hungary, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Ukraine and Russia.
Referring to the livelihood of more than 60% of the urban and rural population in Malekan city, he said directly from grape products:
Urban and rural people in this city are engaged in gardening, especially vineyards,
and in this city there are vineyards from every stratum and guild. has it.
Every year, the grape harvest from 11,000 hectares of vineyards in Malekan city starts on September 6 and continues until October 6.
