Beginning of walnut and olive harvest in the gardens of Ilam city
The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Ilam city said: walnut harvest started in 400 hectares of orchards in Ilam city.
While announcing this news, Nowruzi stated: It is predicted that 700 tons of walnut crops will be harvested from the orchards of the city from this amount.
He said that the recent phenomenon of drought and dust has reduced the quality of walnut crops this year, adding: Ilam city has 530 hectares of walnut orchards, of which 400 hectares will be fertile and the rest will be fertile in the coming years.
Nowruzi also referred to the beginning of olive harvest in the gardens of Ilam city and added: According to the forecasts, 200 tons of olives will be harvested from the gardens of the city.
In the end, the director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Ilam city stated: the area of olive groves in this city is 85 hectares, of which 45 hectares will be fertile and the rest will be fertile in the coming years.
