Black tea prevents heart attack
Cardiologists say consuming three cups of black tea a day reduces the risk of heart attack by 60 percent in a new study.
Experts say black tea also helps reduce the risk of developing diabetes. They emphasize that black tea is a rich source of beneficial antioxidants and is therefore very effective in preventing these two deadly diseases.
According to the Daily Express, Dr. Curry Rockston and Dr. Pamela Mason, his assistant physicians, evaluated 40 different study articles on the effects of black tea.
These doctors believe that regular consumption of black tea is effective in preventing the formation of blood clots and blockage of arteries and in controlling blood pressure. They found that people who drank 3 to 6 cups of black tea a day were 30 to 57 percent less likely to have a heart attack.
These articles also emphasize that there is a beneficial relationship between consuming black tea and reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
