According to him, based on the decision of the Economic Council, the guaranteed purchase price of first grade green tea leaves was set at 26,242 Rials per kilogram this year and second grade at 14,695 Rials per kilogram, which is 7% more than last year.
Roozbehan, predicting an increase in the harvest of green tea leaves in the country this year, said: Last year, a loan of 32 billion Tomans was paid to farmers and tea growers, and this year the same amount will be paid from the fund and credits of the Tea Organization.
The head of the country’s tea organization pointed to the process of reviving tea gardens and said: the process of revitalizing tea gardens has now reached 21,500 hectares from 17,500 hectares in 1392.
