In an interview with Mehr, Mohammadpour Kazemi, in response to the question that caviar and farmed fish meat can replace Caspian sturgeon in world markets, added: Caspian sturgeon, if it reaches its peak again, all sturgeon breeding centers will go bankrupt and justification. It will not be economical.

He stated: If the cost of one kilo of caviar is less than 300 thousand tomans, it has economic justification, as a result, the caviar itself must be sold for at least 300 kilos to make the farm stand.

The head of the International Sturgeon Research Institute said: Once the first place in the world of caviar production belonged to Iran and the same position should be given to the country in the production of farmed caviar.

He also answered a question about which species is the most delicious sturgeon meat, adding: In terms of quality of taste, fish is ozone and in terms of caviar, it is elephant fish .
