Chamomile red heap is useful for intestinal disorders

A researcher of medicinal plants in South Khorasan, noting that the buds and flowers of red mulberry chamomile have anti-inflammatory properties and are useful for intestinal disorders, said: The flowers of the plant are appetizing and flower decoction is used to wash wounds and heal them.

Mohsen Pouyan said: Chamomile red heap is an annual plant and belongs to the squash or chicory family, whose height is 5 to 20 cm, the leaves are petiolate with a shoulder blade.

He pointed out that the flowers have a fertile white tongue, the edges of the flower cup are three-ovate branches, he added: the flowers contain carotene, anthophyll turmeric, azulene and essential oil.

This researcher of medicinal plants in South Khorasan, continued: Its seeds contain bitter oil that has laxative properties. The infusion of the flowers of the plant is appetizing and the decoction of the flower is used to wash and heal the wound.

Pouyan stated: Buds and flowers have anti-inflammatory properties and are useful for intestinal disorders.

He pointed out: its distribution is from Qaen to Ferdows and Birjand and the western heights of Nehbandan.
