Construction of a 5-hectare date grove in Iranshahr

Iranshahr Municipality established a five-hectare palm grove in this city.

Nourahmad Darkhosh stated: In this grove, 1,200 date palms of Rabbi type have been planted.

He added: This grove can produce more than 100 tons of dates annually during fruiting and help the municipality generate income.

He said: In addition, the existence of this grove helps a lot to develop the green space of the city.

The mayor of Iranshahr also said: with the aim of generating revenue for the municipality, two broiler farms will be built in Iranshahr in the near future.

He stated: Iranshahr city is the center of date production in Sistan and Baluchestan and the most dates produced in this city are Rabbi and Mazafati.
