Consumption of black cumin is effective in controlling the clinical symptoms of indigestion
The results of a study in the country show that the consumption of black cumin in patients with non-ulcer dyspepsia has a therapeutic effect and reduces the clinical symptoms of this complication.
Dr. Ali Fani, an internal medicine specialist and lead author of this study, said: The treatment of patients with indigestion has so far been definitely unsatisfactory. In this study, the effect of black cumin (one of the traditional medicines in Iran) was compared and compared with metoclopramide, which is used to control the clinical symptoms of indigestion.
He pointed out that in this study, 160 patients were divided into two groups of 80, adding: the first group used 500 mg of black cumin powder and the second group used 10 mg of metoclopramide twice a day for two weeks.
Dr. Fanny described the severity of abdominal distension, postprandial nausea, premature satiety, postprandial satiety, and pain among the items studied in the samples and said: The results show the effectiveness of black cumin and metoclopramide on the clinical symptoms of the disease. Indigestion is the same, so cumin is as effective as metoclopramide in controlling the symptoms of indigestion.
