Consumption of wild pistachio powder lowers LDL cholesterol
Research shows that consumption of wild pistachio powder reduces LDL-cholesterol and increases serum HDL-cholesterol.
The results of Dr. Saeed Nazifi and Dr. Mehdi Saeb who studied the effect of wild pistachio powder (coriander) on fats and serum lipoproteins of male rabbits showed that consumption of wild pistachio powder due to its significant percentage of fatty acids and fatty acids. It is useful for preventing cardiovascular diseases and atherosclerosis and reducing mortality due to these diseases.
In this study, the effect of wild pistachio powder (coriander) on serum fats and lipoproteins of rabbit blood (as an animal model for humans) was investigated, then 30 healthy male rabbits were selected and randomly divided into six different groups.
Each experimental group (including 5 rabbits) was given different percentages of 10% wild pistachio powder and 100% cholesterol, vegetable oil and tail oil.
Serum fats and lipoproteins were also assayed by conventional laboratory methods. The results showed that after consuming diets containing 10 and 100% wild pistachio powder, the concentration of triglyceride, cholesterol, total lipid, HDL-cholesterol, VLDL-cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol in the serum showed significant differences with sampling at different times. Consumption time of mercury containing 10 and 100% wild pistachio powder; There is a significant decrease in triglyceride, cholesterol, lipid, VLDL-cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol concentrations and a significant increase in serum HDL-cholesterol concentration. Serum cholesterol and lipoproteins (HDL, VLDL, LDL) were associated. Consumption of mercury containing 10% of tail oil in male rabbits resulted in a significant reduction in serum HDL-cholesterol and lipid concentrations. In this case, there was an increase in lipids and other fats. Did not indicate.
Also, consumption of diet containing 1% cholesterol was associated with a significant decrease in serum triglyceride, HDL-cholesterol and VLDL-cholesterol and a significant increase in serum cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol.
