Mohammad Beheshtinejad, Deputy Minister of Handicrafts of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Yazd Province, said about copper and copper industry and its antiquity: Copper has an ancient history in Iran and has been common in Iran since about five thousand years BC. . In archeological excavations, copper vessels date back to 6,400 years ago.
He said that this industry has been common in Khorasan, Isfahan, Tehran, Zanjan, Tabriz and Yazd provinces, adding that today it is necessary to change the use of copper tools to make more use of it.
Beheshtinejad added: It is possible to boost copper by applying the products of industry and decorative use of it, and if there are changes in the shape and size of copper equipment, the copper sales market will improve.
He said: Today, copper tools are not popular with families in the way they were made and used in the past.
The Deputy Minister of Handicrafts of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Yazd Province said: The ground is ready for the purchase of copper decorative items, and production in this profession should be directed towards making decorative items.
