He added: Cumin cultivation has been done in the dry season and in fallow fields.
Orangi continued: Cumin plant belongs to the umbrella family, contains antioxidants and has a warm and dry nature and has many healing properties. The growth temperature range of cumin is between 9 and 30 degrees Celsius. Despite its relatively low yield, this plant has a high economic value.
He emphasized: Cumin plant is of special importance due to special characteristics such as low water requirement, planting period, relatively short harvest, creating a balance in the time distribution of work of farmers and agricultural machinery.
The promotion expert of Marvdasht Agricultural Jihad Center mentioned the lack of expansion of conversion and complementary industries and the lack of implementation of research projects as the problems of those involved in cumin production.
