Cumin consumption is useful for relieving indigestion
Cumin contains tannins, resin oils and essential oils. Cumin essential oil is obtained by distilling crushed fruit under the influence of water vapor. This essential oil is a colorless liquid that stays yellow and then brown when left on.
The smell of cumin is related to an aldehyde called cuminol. The amount of cuminol in cumin is between 30 and 50% depending on the place of cultivation.
Cumin is astringent, drying and anticonvulsant and is useful for relieving epilepsy.
It is also effective in expelling gas from the stomach and sweat, and cumin can be used to relieve bronchitis.
It is useful for relieving indigestion. To stimulate the appetite, mix cumin with vinegar and water and eat it before meals.
To heal eye ulcers, soak crushed cumin seeds in raw rice water and then pour the resulting liquid drop by drop on the eye ulcer.
It should be noted that cumin is used in foods that are bloated, especially beans.
