Cumin tail is useful for toothache
If cumin is soaked in vinegar and a few drops of it are dropped into the nose, it is useful to stop nosebleeds, said an herbalist, noting that cumin infusion is good for toothache.
Mohsen Pouyan added: Cumin belongs to the Chatrian family, which is known as Karavieh in the books of Iranian medicine, Sunnah, Commune, and in the local dialect of South Khorasan.
He stated: The leaves of this plant are like black cumin, green and cotton-shaped and the flowers are small and white or pink.
The expert of medicinal plants, stating that the seeds of this plant are used in herbal medicine, said: in its chemical decomposition, a fixed oil, resin, tannin and aldehyde called cuminol and from terpenes, pysimines, dipenitene and aldehydes cumin aldehyde and cuminyl alcohol Has been reported.
Pouyan continued: Consumption of cumin soaked in vinegar and its water is useful for hardening and strengthening the stomach and liver and stimulates the appetite, it also eliminates bloating and is used to stop hiccups.
He added: the amount of food of this medicinal plant is 20 grams per day, which is consumed as a powder with sweetener or in one liter of water.
This expert on medicinal plants stated that cumin is also used in the preparation of essential oils and perfumes, noting that cumin is a crop that is widely cultivated in South Khorasan.
