Daily export of Iranian farmed caviar to European countries
Due to the fact that this year, for the first time, Iran has joined the list of authorized exporters of farmed caviar to the European Union, every day a consignment of this product is exported to the European Union.
Samad Yeganeh, Director General of the Quarantine and International Affairs Office of the Iranian Veterinary Organization, referring to Iran joining the European Union in the list of authorized exporters of farmed caviar, said: It was done in Arabic that this year a license was issued to export this product to the European Union.
He stated: The export code of farmed caviar has been received for the European Union and our country has international terms and conditions for exporting this product to the market of European countries.
The director general of the quarantine and international affairs office of the country’s veterinary organization noted: Every day, a consignment of Iranian farmed caviar is exported to the European Union.
According to the Iranian Fisheries Organization, 100 kg of caviar was extracted from farmed fish last year. Part of this amount was exported to the domestic market and part to neighboring countries, but this year, according to the head of the Iranian Fisheries Organization, one ton of farmed caviar will be harvested. According to the Director General of Mazandaran Fisheries, 156 kg of farmed caviar of this province was exported to four countries of Germany, France, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates worth 135 thousand and 720 dollars by the end of November, among which Germany had the largest share.
