Damask rose care started from Savojbolagh farms
The head of the Savojbolagh Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department announced the start of damask rose care in the city’s farms.
According to the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Alborz Province, Reza Khalaj stated: Every year from early May to mid-June, Damask rose is cared for in the gardens and orchards of the province and the city of Savojbolagh.
The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Savojbolagh, referring to job creation and economic prosperity in the region, said: Every year, passing tourists and travelers are allowed to pick and pick flowers with their own hands.
He added: In the meantime, product refinement, preparation of roses in the traditional way and sale of by-products are other tourist attractions that have been provided by the private sector.
Khalaj said that the establishment of the Flower and Rose Collection Festival, an exhibition of related products and local souvenirs is one of the programs that will be implemented in the coming years with the improvement of special conditions.
