Date harvest begins in Bavi city from mid-September

The director of Bavi Agricultural Jihad said: the date harvest will start in mid-September and will continue until the end of October.

Ali Hedayat, noting that the date harvest will begin in mid-September, said: The product of this city is currently in the form of rotb.

He added: 395 hectares are the area under date palm cultivation, of which about 300 hectares are fertile date palms.

Hedayat stated that the date harvest forecast is 2,400 tons. And most of the export products of this city include colonization.

He pointed out the problems of the farmers with the insurance fund: Because the insurance did not compensate the farmers in time, they are dissatisfied with this issue. Also this year, due to late payment of damages, palm growers did not welcome insurance.
